About

Born and raised a classical pianist, Manu studied with Prof. Michael Young from age eleven and won prizes nationally and internationally as both a performer and a composer before leaving school. As a teenager he performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto and Chopin’s 2nd Piano Concerto and began to work as an arranger and a composer for theatre and dance.

Since studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Academy of Contemporary Music he has worked with companies such as The Pappy Show, Theatre 503 and renowned Edinburgh Fringe organisation ZOO Venues. In the last two years, Manu had music featured on the BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5 through work with MusicHub, and created work for House of Create and Rambert. Manu is currently working to deliver a dance piece titled ‘Almonds’ featuring an original story and music that explores the themes of climate crisis and gender identity.
